Paul Fryman is a ceramist inspired by materiality and the world around him. His work is largely wood-fired stoneware, a decision to focus on the duality of the raw clay’s beauty and the transformation of the firing process. He is living and working in Burty Village, Poltava Ukraine, a region with a rich heritage of ceramics making. His studio, Pottery Park was established in 2009 with Mykhaylo Tovstous and since then has been a constant expression of experimentation and discovery.
